Meet Ashlea Cummerford
My name is Ashlea Cummerford and I live in the city of Red Deer, Alberta, with my pack of furry friends. I have been a dog lover and caregiver for as long as I can remember — I've been a dog owner my entire life, except for a couple of years while I was in college.
After years of building a career in real estate, I decided it was time for a change and began exploring the world of responsible dog breeding. I wanted a path that would let me pour my energy into something I'm truly passionate about — raising happy, healthy Australian Labradoodles.
That passion led to Rose Country Labradoodles. Every day I get to do what I love: caring for our dogs, matching wonderful families with their perfect puppy, and being part of the incredible Australian Labradoodle community.

Every parent dog undergoes complete health testing including OFA hips, elbows, eyes, Von Willebrand's, EIC, and full DNA profiling.

We're always available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout your Labradoodle's life. Our relationship doesn't end at pickup.
Guardian Home Program
A unique program that ensures our breeding dogs live as beloved family pets.
How It Works
Rose Country Labradoodles occasionally holds back a pup or purchases a pup from another breeder with exceptional qualities for our breeding program. Guardian families are selected to ensure the pup lives as a loved family member.
Requirements:
- Must reside within one-hour driving distance of Red Deer
- Fulfill obligations in Guardian Home Program contract
- Pups must return to Rose Country for assessments, testing, and breeding
Program Details
- Males visit for breeding: 2-7 days
- Females: 2-7 days for breeding + 7-8 weeks to whelp/nurture puppies
- Females may have up to 4 litters after completing testing
- Breeder covers all medical costs related to breeding and spaying/neutering
- Guardian covers routine expenses: food, vaccinations, grooming
- Both male and female pups available in miniature, medium, and standard sizes
